We had only met the week before (online) but sure liked talking on the phone. There were a few experiences I had that led up to my going online (something I said I would never do.) I really think my mom had something to do with this as she said when she was dying she would find someone for me as she hated for me to be alone.
Anyway, Don flew in from UT, I met him at the airport then we went to Bass Pro Shop and walked around. Oh, I sort of forgot where I parked my car at the airport so that was a bit embarrassing. I even put the space # on my cell phone notepad but went to the wrong floor (but the right space!) The way he kept looking at me had me a bit flustered. After the Bass Pro Shop outing which was rather fun we went to the park next to that, walked around, talked and talked, and had lunch I brought. We then went to another park where all my kids and grandkids met us. Our first day together was really fun! We went to the Temple the next morning and things just kept going at quite the fun pace! Don was so easy and comfortable to talk to and it just seemed so right from the very beginning.
