These pictures really do not do justice to the beauty we saw riding up Mt. Lemmon. The weather was gorgeous and views and smells were amazing. Don just loved the rock balancing formations. This last picture was taken because it amazed us how this tree was growing right out of the rock. There are dozens of hikes to be taken off this Mt. Lemmon road and we wish we could hike them all. There is nothing like being all alone on a mountain trail hearing the birds and mt. lions -- ok, just the birds. The village of Summerhaven burned up in 2003 but they have rebuilt some of it and it was fun to visit. I can't wait to take a week long bike trip sometime!

Mom, you are always having such fun adventures. Would the kids like the mine? We need to do more creative things with them. Glad you are enjoying the motorcycle.
Looks like lots of fun once again. You two have bben on more little outings since you've been married- what fun first year of marriage that I'm sure will continue thru to many more. I love seeing you happy and having fun.
