On Thurs. we met Don's daughter Kristi and her 3 boys at the Superstition Lost Dutchman State park campground where we camped a few nights. Don went Wed to secure a spot. The view is spectacular from the campground! We went on some fun hikes each day and just enjoyed being outdoors. In this picture we had hiked to Hackberry springs and the boys (and dog!) were enjoying the cold water.

What a view from the campground!

This picture was taken Sat. All my kids were in town (Heidi had flown in with Brooklyn and Mary drove down with Kaymie) so we went to see Megan play in her softball game. She pitched two innings and did very well! Yeah Megan!

I love the picture below. I delighted in seeing the boys find such joyful things. Here they are watching a lizards tail after it got separated in the catching process. It wiggled and wiggled. Skyler is holding the tail and Conner has the lizard on his thumb.

Sat. was a fun day getting together with my kids/gr kids. We enjoyed lunch at Cafe Rio then Mary and Kamala were nice enough to run a few errands with me. They helped me find some great hiking clothes on clearance! That afternoon Mary and I took Stacie's younger boys to a nice outdoor reserve near her house with water, birds, etc. The weather has been so beautiful and I dread it getting warm. Time with family sure goes by much too quickly!
