Riverview Campground at Gila Box

We celebrated our 2nd anniversary by taking our newly purchased tahoe and toyhauler to the Riverview campground in the Gila Box area.  The steep gravel road gave us some trouble with back tires spinning but fortunately a jeep came along behind us.  There wasn't much room to pass on either side but with a few inches of clearance it got by next to the wall and was able to pull us up the hill.

We rode the quad for hours and would end up 20 mi or so from camp so luckily Don thought to bring along a patch kit for a hole in the tire!  That would have been a very long walk back!
We were soon on our way again.  Goldie loves the quad outings!
Tracks by the river.  Can you guess the tracks?  Racoon and some bird???  We need to learn our tracks!
Awesome views from East Bonita road

we crossed the high Bonita creek with trepidation!
We hiked a portion of the Safford Morenci trail which has a neat hx.  Next 2 pix are from that hike.
